Due to the continuing high winds, we have had more trees down. On Saturday we cleared two trees blocking the road and another that was hanging over the road. When checking the woodland, we found another two trees that were unsafe and decided to take them down. Today a large tree is blocking the road just after the turn of from the lauder road and had been reported to SBC. The wind is expected to last into next week so in the interest of safety I would urge members of the public not to use Wooplaw until we have had a chance to asses any new damage and say it is safe to use. Any members of the public using Wooplaw before we give the all clear do so at their own risk.
