The work has started today to clear the trees from the road at Wooplaw there are over 130 trees across the road and the contractor will be using a harvester to remove them. The wardens were at the woods on Saturday and dropped the root plates around the cabin area to make it a bit safer for people to use but In the interests of safety the woods should not be used until the contractor has finished and we have completed a survey. The contractor has estimated the work to take 3 days but there will still be dangerous tree to deal with, we will post another update this weekend.
